Qualifications
Person Specifications (Education, Experience & Competencies)
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing human resource management decisions within existing rules, regulations and procedures;
Processing information relating to recruitment, promotion, leave, transfer and exit documents;
Updating payroll and complement data;
Maintaining accurate records of expiry of contracts, probationary periods, and acting appointments, and submitting reports for decision making;
Collating and compiling training applications and staff performance appraisals;
Updating the human resource management information system;
Compiling agenda and minutes for the human resource advisory committee;
Drafting routine correspondence;
Identifying areas of risk in the department;
Implementing the department’s charter;
Promoting Business Process Re-engineering (BPR);
Implementing the business continuity plan for the department; and
Fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and good corporate citizenship.
