IT Graduate Trainee

Job Purpose

To assist in writing and testing code, gathering business requirements, coordinating agile projects.

Key responsibilities

Assist in writing clean, testable code and fixing software bugs.

Assist with software design and participate in code reviews.

Support system deployment, updates, and routine maintenance.

Assist in document workflows, system policies, and user guides.

Assist in tracking project timelines, sprint goals, and deliverables.

Assist in managing and coordinating IT service desk requests from users and provide timely feedback on all requests.

Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets and IT documentation.

Position requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or IT-related discipline.

Software and hardware support

Knowledge of Programming PHP, Python, Java, C++

Knowledge of databases e.g. Postgres SQL, Microsoft SQL

Good customer service and people skills

Self-motivated and a team player

Pleasant personality

Excellent communication skills
