For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: - Petroleum Geo-Science, Geology, Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Exploration & Production or Earth Science from a university recognized in Kenya. Duties and Responsibilities This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: - collecting and compiling petroleum related geological data; assisting in execution of planned geological field surveys for oil and gas projects; participating in analysis of mapped sedimentary basins; participating in the preparation of petroleum related reports; and compiling oil and gas information for relevant stakeholders.
