About ICT Authority
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority is a state corporation within the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Technology. This organization was founded in August 2013 to address inefficiencies in government technology operations. Its primary mission is to optimize how ICT systems are managed across all public sector units nationwide.

Qualifications
Programme Objective
To develop and prepare young ICT graduates to take up employment opportunities in the ICT and other sectors by gaining workplace experience, mentorship, and building professional networks.
Eligibility Requirements
Degree Honors
Graduated and attained First Class or Second Class Honours – Upper Division (or equivalent) from a recognized institution in the last two years (from Jan 2024).
Awaiting Graduation
If waiting graduation (till Dec 2026), provide a recommendation/reference letter from the University signed & stamped by the university indicating First or Upper Second-Class Honors to be awarded.
Core Specializations
Recent graduates in BSc. ICT or Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Systems/Software, Security). Must demonstrate technical competencies in core areas prior to interview.
Age & Status
MUST be a Kenyan youth (21-29 yrs) & unemployed.
Previous Internship
MUST NOT have previously undertaken a Government of Kenya internship program.
