Website Operator

About the Position

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Website & Marketing Assistant.

This is an entry-level position involving e-commerce website management, customer service, marketing, POS, and customer-facing responsibilities. Training will be provided, and previous experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain products, prices, images, and information on the e-commerce website.

Assist customers with website inquiries, online orders, and general customer service through the website, WhatsApp, social media, and in person.

Assist with social media posts, product promotions, advertisements, and other basic marketing activities.

Follow up with potential customers and leads.

Follow up with existing customers regarding orders, customer experience, and outstanding payments.

Assist with POS transactions and basic checkout duties when required.

Help maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and product information.

Use AI and other digital tools to assist with content creation, research, marketing, and day-to-day tasks.

Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills

Good computer skills and comfortable learning new software.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Good attention to detail.

Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.

Organized, reliable, and willing to take initiative.

Comfortable communicating with customers both online and in person.

Willingness to learn and use AI tools and new technology.

Ability to work full-time from our Eldoret office.

Preferred but not required:

Experience with websites, e-commerce, social media, or digital marketing.

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Basic knowledge of graphic design or content creation.

Familiarity with Odoo, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms.
